Office Nomad takes over

Since there has been same changes in how I will use my time in the future, I’ve also started to think where I will do it.

I’ve had a chance to ponder upon what is important to me with regards to daily environment. I realized that I need an office where I go every morning, and I need some people around me during the breaks. Also, change of environment is healthy once in a while.

I decided  to be creative with myself.

Soon I had an idea about how cool and refreshing it would be to spend some time in one place and then move to a new place with new people.

Would some people want to work in same space with me? Maybe even provide me a place in their office? For exchage, I could offer them my expertise, networks and use of my coffee freakyness.

I decided to try this out. Talking to some people, I got mostly positive feedback. I tweaked my original idea a bit, making it even more appealing.

And now it’s true! Officially, since first of April 2009, I have been the Office Nomad!

I’m writing this article from Codento Ltd. office in Ruoholahti, Helsinki. They are my host company for April.  I’ll share some more info about them and the company at later stage.

The coolest phone ever? The Lego Phone!

The hottest mobile rumour for a while. Alcatel and Lego are bringing out a mobile phone that looks like a Lego block.

Yes, it’s true…the rumour is there, I mean.

If this is true, can you imagine every kid in the world wanting one? No, more like can you imagine every marketing/advertising/creative geek wanting one, especially if you can make your own look by changing the various plastic bits into your own…?
